Toddler Self Scratching
Thomas (3) sometimes scratches himself on the face or legs when he is in the middle of a huge tantrum. I figured that was a normal tantrum type behavior.
Today, he was watching a movie at daycare and the teacher said they noticed he was scratching his knee so bad that it became red and raw and has three scratch marks on it. They didn't notice anything there before that would make him itchy, they think he was just scratching and not even paying attention to what he was doing. I'm a little worried that this is not normal behavior... Any advice or experience with this?
Thanks!

Re: Toddler Self Scratching
No advice, just hugs because we're going through the same thing and have been for a long time... Just had him tested for allergies last week and he tested negative for everything so we have no idea why he's doing this!
