Toddler sneakers?
Looking to buy my 19 mo old DD sneakers but don't want to spend $40-$50. Up til now she has been wearing Stride Rite which I love but find it very pricey. Where do you recommend I shop & what brand do you like? Thanks.

Re: Toddler sneakers?
We did stride rite at first. The outlet had B1G1 half off so they were $30. Now we have converse and whatever other shoes we like.

Stride Rite outlet in Deer Park and Riverhead. Just got BoGo 40% off. 2 pairs for about the price of one in the regular store.

Have bought 3 pairs of Pumas and we love how easy they are to put on. If you go to Nordstrom at Roosevelt, i know they just got a shipment of new toddler styles. Ended up buying Nike and Adidas- although we havent used them yet.

Re: Toddler sneakers?
I used to get them at the Stride Rite outlet. Since she grows out them so fast I've just been buying her shoes at Payless mostly. Sometimes I'll find a good deal at Marshalls too.

I go to the stride rite outlet or get them online when they do the bogo sales. They're feet are still developing up until something like the age of 5 so I like her in supportive shoes the majority of the time.

We buy 2 pairs of shoes & one pair of sandals (crocs usually) a year.
I like the width of stride rite.

Saucony Baby Jazz are great and I have been known to wash and dry them.

Check out thredup.com. I've been buying and selling on there for months. They have gently used and brand new sneakers for kids at reasonable prices.

Kohls. Stride Rite shoes are always small on my son, even when I get half a size up. I got him a pair of Jumping Beans shoes and they fit great.

Re: Toddler sneakers?
Stride rite at the outlets are your best bet for shoes that will hold up. I've bought 2 pairs of shoes at Payless, one pair of boots and another sneaker, and they fell APART within two months. My DC can be rough on shoes, but they were both terrible! The boots literally burst at the seams.
I've also had luck finding Sperry shoes on sale online. They've held up really well.

I never bought Stride Rite. I just bought age appropriate styles...younger soft sole and flexible.

Re: Toddler sneakers?
We usually buy Saucony or New Balance, and yes they are usually around that price point, but we've had really good luck searching on 6pm.com . It may be last season's style or a smaller selection of colors, but you can usually save at least $10 per pair.

Nordstrom Rack in Huntington has an excellent selection of toddler sneakers. I have bought brands Nike, Stride Right Puma, Converse & Asics for 20-30 dollar range.

Re: Toddler sneakers?
We usually get her adidas, new balance or puma shoes from zappos.com. They are always $35-$55, so approximately in your budget. We love, love, loved her adidas sneakers and I wanted to get them in the next size up but they don't sell them anymore, so I think I am doing new balance this time around.
