Toddler that stops drinking milk once you drop the bottle
DS will not take milk out of anything other than his bottle. I dropped the bottle the day after his second birthday. It's been a struggle ever since for him to drink milk out of anything else. He isn't big on cheese so I am wondering what besides yogurt can we supplement so he gets his calcium intake. He went from three servings of milk a day to 0. His ped appointment isn't until next week but just wondering what others have done in my situation. I a worried he may lose weight. A friend's toddler began losing weight after she went through the same thing and she had to put her back on the bottle.

No advice, just 
My DS just turned 26 months and takes 2 bottles a day (morning and night). He refuses to drink milk out of anything else.
It's not a battle I'm choosing to fight now. I'd rather him drink milk than not so he gets a bottle. I'm not ok with him not drinking milk.

What did you transition too? There are sippy cups that have spouts similar to a bottle and you can gradually switch to others less like a bottle in time. What else does he drink and from what? Have you tried the milk in "juice" boxes?

I have tried all kinds of sippies- straw, nipple like a bottle, hard spout with various suction, funny straws... Brands I have tried nuby, munchkin, playtex and nothing works. I know at daycare though he does drink his milk. He will drink his water and juice in any of these cups that we grab for him. There is no preference as to what water or juice is contained in.
I did think to buy the milk in a box. He drinks a juice box when he is at my parents two days a week.

just keep offering the milk. My son went on strike for like 10 days, but then he started taking milk from a straw sippy cup.
have you tried a tiny bit of chocolate milk out of a sippy cup? i know that works for some.

I do have strawberry powder from when I was preggo. That mixed with almond vanilla soy milk was my favorite!! I will try that tomorrow am. He does walk around with one nuby bottle/cup with a big spout when it has milk in it. He won't drink from it but he will walk around with it and just says milk constantly. I will continue to try with this cup. Hopefully the strawberry may help...
