Toddlers, Hardwood floors, and cold feet....
I have 2 kids that LOVE to run around and LOVE to be barefoot.
Socks are not an option because they slip and fall....
What can they wear to keep their toe toes warm this winter?

I got these little zip up booties from Target - I didn't think he would keep them on - but he has so far!

I put them in socks... They learned about slipping and falling by doing it often enough They do make socks where they imprint the sizes on the bottom in a rubber substance that helps with traction a bit!

We have hardwood floors and DS wears socks I mean, he slips sometimes, but not enough to hurt himself!
I saw those booties in Target, they were cute

We use either socks that have the grippers on the bottom, or I ordered her some slippers that she will hopefully keep on.
Not sure how many options you have if they won't keep socks or slippers on though...

If they won't keep anything on then I guess I would probably just let them have cold feet. I'm sure if they are cold enough they will let you know and be willing to put something on their feet.

Mocassins, Nowali type. H&M has lots of them this season. They are leather booties with a sock sewn on.

Quite honestly, I let her have cold feet. If she's that bothered by it, she'll keep her slippers on. At least, that's how I feel.

I put socks or slippers on DD but sometimes she just not in the mood to wear anything on her feet and honestly I just let her be barefoot. As long as their feet aren't turning blue it's not worth the battle.

Amen Sista, thats exactly how I feel about Noah's not wanting to wear any of the gorgeous slippers that I buy for him.

Re: Toddlers, Hardwood floors, and cold feet....
My BFF said she makes her own gripper socks by taking puffy paint and making designs on the bottom of socks... and of course letting them dry.
She said it's the same thing as buying the grippy socks in the stores!
I am going to try it as soon as I get the paint!

I put the gripper socks on during the day. If they wont wear slippers and or socks, really you have no other options?
