Toddlers/Water Safety at Hotel Pool
We are travelling to Disney and will go only in kiddie pools and spray areas - twins are 18 months and older DS is 6 - so he may want to go in some deeper water, but not much. We will obviously be holding the babies - should I get a life vest too? The puddle jumpers don't fit yet. Does Disney have life vests at resort pools? I don't think they'll wear arm floaties either. TIA!

Disney has life vests. Not sure how small they go though. Where are you us staying? Many of the resort pools are zero entry, so you probably don't need to hold them.

I dont known if they provide them at the disney resort, but i'd probably get those swimming vests for them. We are staying at an off site property. Our twins will be 5.5 and our youngest almost 4. They'll all be wearing puddle jumpers at the pool. Makes me too nervous!

Re: Toddlers/Water Safety at Hotel Pool
DD is not allowed near any pool without a vest or puddle jumper on. And those arm wing things are not safe...they don't keep their face out of the water. Do not use those. Get a life vest that is coast guard approved if they are too small for the puddler jumper. I wouldn't depend on the resort having them

Disney provides vests. You do not need to bring them. They are yellow full vest type ones. Actually better than a puddle jumpers. I used them on several trips before my kids became very competent swimmers. You can even keep it in your room during your stay.

Re: Toddlers/Water Safety at Hotel Pool
Just got back from Disney. We stayed at Kidani Village at AKL and it was perfect for younger kids because the pool was zero entry and mainly on the shallow side. They have vests. My 2.5 year old wore one and it fit her perfectly. I think it should fit your little ones as long as they are too too small. I don't recall the weight limit on the x-small but the small was 30lbs to 38 lbs I believe so I would assume in the low to high 20s. I also noticed the lifeguards are incredibly vigilant which made me more comfortable in general.

Re: Toddlers/Water Safety at Hotel Pool
Before you go, try the kids in vests, puddle jumpers & arm floaties.
We went with arm floaties because of a variety of reasons. My older child swims now (I personally think arm floaties helped him learn).
I think the most important thing is to have 1 adult keep eyes on each non swimming kid the whole time. With the oldest, I'd use a vest.

Re: Toddlers/Water Safety at Hotel Pool
We went in November and my daughter was 20 months old, and tiny. They had vests that fit her at every pool
