Todler beds?
At what age did you put yor Dc in a todler bed and for how long did they use it ?

DS went into one when he was 22 months and he's still in it now at 4 (although he's getting too big for it  , we do have a twin for him, but are waiting a bit until we think DD is ready for the toddler bed to do both transitions).

I put my son in a twin bed at 22 months.I am putting my dd in a twin bed next month she will be 20 months

Ava went into hers at 24 months. We'll see how long it lasts. I always wanted to put her straight into a twin bed, but we switched abruptly and letting her pick her own bed out really helped the transition.

She was almost three-she will be in it until Kristopher is old enough to get it. Probably another year.

I put DS right into a twin size bed around 14 months, he was climbing out of his crib by then!

We went straight to a twin bed instead of a toddler bed, when she was 2. She adapted easier than I thought she would.

ds is going to be 15 months when the new baby comes ( but he/she will go in the basinet for a few months) so Im thinking Ds will be 17-18 months and a todler bed would be best...
