Told our parents this weekend
We purchased 2 pacifiers and wrapped them up. We attached a card to each saying "Dear Grandma and Grandpa, Please keep this at your house for when I come and visit. Knowing mommy, she will forget. See you in January. Love Baby to be
MIL and FIL were excited. The reaction wasn't exactly what I thought it would be. Dont get me wrong, they were very happy but the subject quickly changed after that lol
My parents WERE OUT OF CONTROL with excitment!!!!! We gave it to my mom to open. She didnt have her glasses on and couldnt read it. she was flipping out and told my dad to read it to her. Instead he took it, read it to himself and past it on to my sister. My mom was SCREAMING at this point for someone to read it to her. My sister tried to read it to her but she quickly became exmotional and couldn't speak. Finally she read it to my mom. Everyone was so excited and crying. My mom weighted on me hand and foot that night and the next day at her BBQ. Shes so funny! They were all very happy that this happened on its own. Saved us ALOT of money!
