Tomorrow is the day...UPDATE
I am so nervous for my little crokey to get his cyst removed
he looks so cute sitting there with his little lion cut
I feel so bad
please tell me he is going to be fine
UPDATE- he has to stay the night at the vet- I am a little upset- but I was told he is fine and recovering
Jake played a joke on me about this and then it came true
the house is not the same
Jake is going to get him at 9am tomorrow
UPDATE- He is home! He is fine! more updated below

he is there- I can go get him right after work
I feel so bad still- we had to take his food away after 12am- and he was freaking out all night- he had eaten plenty- but he likes to have it out- he usually eats again around 4am- then goes back to bed (just like my DH  weird now that I think about it)
So I got zero sleep- he was trying to wake me up all night for food- walking on me, pulling my hair clip out- the usually Mommy pay attention to me stuff
he was confused- then Jake walked all the way to car- and realized he had no key- so he had to walk all the way back- past the gardeners and the mowing (he hates loud noise) and then a 10 minute ride in the mustang- which he did not like- (can't blame him- I hate it also)
I can't wait to see him later- thank you for listening to me - DH thinks I am nuts

Awww he'll be fine, he is probably just woozy from the anaesthetic and they want to make sure it is out of his system, they can hurt themsleves if they are still "under" a little bit and they try to jump on things, also they can vomit if they eat/drink afterwards. Please try not to worry, you'll see him in the morning

Yes. Its best if he stays with them so they can watch him till the anasthetic is out of his system. When my cats were spayed they had to stay overnight for this reason. I know you miss him and its not the same, but its for the best.
It'll be over before you know it

he's home- He was on an IV all night
he was shaking when Jake got there

thank you- the girl we adopted him from did not take care of him- he was all matted, smelled like smoke and was a completely different cat when we got him
she told us all he did was hide- well- that is not the case anymore- he is very playful now- I don't think she paid attention to him
it makes me sad to think about what his life used to be like- I am so glad we adopted him- I was so unsure about it - b/c I never had a pet- but he has stolen my heart in the last 6 months

I haven't seen him yet- but my DH is working from home today
and of course I wont be home till late- I want to see him now
DH said he was shaking this morning- but relaxed when he saw hime I can only imagine what he was thinking- my poor little guy

he's ok- but we are having a hard tiem giving him his medicine- he bite THRU my DH nail this morning

Hmmm, well most vets have the little treat things you can put pills in, or if it if a tablet you can try crushing it between two teaspoons and mixing it in food, or if he likes cheese squish it into a little bit of cheese and just pray he doesn't spit it out. If all else fails ask the vet if they do it transdermal - they put it into a cream form and you just wipe a bit on the inside of the ear. One of mine takes tablets really easy the other one we always get the tansdermal. If it is liquid, good luck, that is a two man job however you do it Try mixing liquid into food? If it smells too strong he probably won't eat it.
