***UPDATE 
Well Joey did not have a good day. He was desaturating his O2 with his first bottle feed in the morning. Then he had a brady (heart rate dropped below 100) while I was feeding him. Then he continued to brady about 3x in the day. Dad tried to feed him tonight and he did not want to drink out of the bottle so they had to tube feed him. He was crying alot too so we stayed longer than usual until he went to bed. I called the hospital and said he has been asleep since we left. I just can't seem to sleep tonight. Tomorrow he has PT in the morning about 10:30am then another bottle feed I hope it was just an off day and all goes well. I am not feeling well myself tonight asthma acted up this morning and I am just totally stressed!!
****ALSO
Just found out my sister who has MS is in the hospital and they found 3 more lesions on her brain.

hang in there. I know when my mom was in the hospital, she had a lot of days that she was just not right, that's just how it goes, but it makes the good days feel so much better. He's a fighter and he made it this far!!! keeping you guys in my prayers

my son also had problems with apnea/bradys when he was in nicu---it will get better with time---sometimes I think its harder on us then it is on them---he is doing good!!! he will get the hang of the bottle!! i can tell you, my son came home on a monitor for bradys and 2 months later is monitor free----they just need time! hang in there!!! we are all here for you!

Not much to update he is being very picky with his bottles now and his BPD it kinda bad so he won't be coming home till its better!

OK I never complained yet about this hospital or the nurses here, but tonight upset me very much. I didn't go to 2 of Joey's feedings today b/c I am under the weather. So I went tonight at 8pm. When I got there Joey was already changed and wrapped up in his blankets. I got his bottle ready and noticed a huge red mark and puss on his cheek. He had this once b4 and it was from the tape to hold his O2 and feeding tube in place and I was told it was written in his chart as an allergic reaction. Well I started to try to feed Joey when he started to cry and make himself turn purple. I noticed his face was hurting him. His nurse was no where to be found and she started her shift at 7 it was 8pm. Then I put on the lights (because we have them off so Joey can see better there are hall lights bright enough just to see) his face was beat red and he had a bloody nose from the O2. I was getting mad b/c I could tell it was really hurting him. Well the nurse taking care of the baby next to us came over and helped us. She took off the tape and put some cool water to help the pain. He was still walling and couldn't eat so she put him on a tube feed. After about 1hour of this I finally got Joey to sleep and calmed him down. THEN HIS NURSE SHOWS UP!!! She said "Well I was just waiting for him to finish his bottle, then I was gonna take off the tape" Grrrrrrrrrrrrrr omg his monitors were going off like nuts what if it was serious and his O2 and heart rate were dropping she didn't even check on us!!! We are going to the head nurse tomorrow about this!!

you did everything right eli!!! make sure you follow through with going to the head nurse, but also make sure to praise the one who did help you!!!!!! I am glad he is ok and nothing really bad happen. i always thought the tape on his face looked to tight in the pictures. tell michelle i said i hope she feels better. and big hugs and kisses to you all
