Ok so i went to take a shower and i felt a little sore under my boobs and i had this bright red rash!!!! EWWW sorrry!
My mom thinks it prickly heat...any simillar situations? any suggestions?

I can understand. I am a 34 DD entering triple at the moment ehhhhh. I use rubbing alc. with a cotton ball to wipe my chest to keep it from breakouts. I know it is gross but when you are big you have to do what you have to do. I would put some cortizone cream on it. If it persists call your doc.

It can also be a type of yeast infection..gross I know! It's caused by sweat. You need to keep it clean and dry. Maybe a cotton bra? Also, put some baby powder there.
Either way, keep it dry, clean and baby powdered should help!

Definitely wear a cotton bra-you want to absorb any sweat which leads to what you mentioned.

yes!!!!!!!!!!!! I have it too! I thought it was from my bra digging into me but when i went to OB she said it was a skin yeast infection. eww i know i said same thing!! she said to go buy lotrimin i think its called; a cream thats used for like athletes foot or ringworm. she said it would take a while to go away but it will help with the cream. im so glad im not alone haha. apply lotion in am and at night.

Yup, got that over here too! So annoying! I was originally a 32DD now I am a 34DDD and am growing by the day, it really sucks!
ETA: I use cortizone cream and it is going away.

sorry to totally crash here but i'm a big boobie girl (and not preggo)  and sometimes i see the same sort of rash under my girls! i know this sounds crazy but something that always helps for me is to put some diaper cream on it. i don't even have kids and i have some in the house for when this happens (a day in the life of a big boobie girl) ;) HTH

Happened to me twice already during this pregnancy. This is waaay tmi but it had a sorta sweaty smell too. I baby powdered them to death and in a few days it was gone both times. I also tried to wear my bras that seemed a little less irritating.

I had something that sounded liek this too while i pregnant, I just made sure that i put powder on or well under them everyday.

I am a 34DDD venturing quickly into a 34F. I am pretty petite so the bras literally rub against my rib cage and it gets extremely red and it almost feels bruised. I have also had the red underneath in the summer time. I totally feel your pain and understand where you are coming from. Not gross at all....just the joys of having your boobs take over your whole BODY!!!! Ughhhh! Since it seems everyone on this post is just as big as me....where does everyone find bras that FIT?? I need help with that majorly!!! Good luck....I am praying mine shrink after breast feeding!

Yes I get this all the time even not pregnant. I generally put powder on every couple of days or so and I wear cotton bras. It always goes away.

I have had this happen....put desitin (diaper rash cream) on it before bed....and it's gone by morning. I'm glad I'm not the only one here
I'd also love to know where you ladies are getting bras that are supportive and comfortable

I've had big funbags since I got funbags. I get this in the summer.... I think it's heat rash. Nothing a little powder can't soothe.

I'm another advocate of using baby powder! I would always get gross rashes bc of sweat and mild yeasty stuff under there 
Ever since I started using baby powder it doesn't happen anymore. Even in the summer!

sounds like it can be yeast/fungal ... this is gonna be gross, but smell it, you can often smell the difference between your normal BO and yeast/fungal. I would try adding yogurt to your diet. Nothing medical will confirm, but for me personally, any time things get yeasty/icky eating yogurt (like 3 serving a day for a few days) seems to help.
baby powder is usually fine and works great for me.
In the summers I would actually use my antiperspirant under boobies.
Since prego, its not enough, I've been sweating a lot more and nipple leaks add another mositure component, so I tuck a sheet of bounty in my bra, and let it stick out the bottom a little. I also tuck another couple of smaller pieces in the armpit area. I just change it out a few times a day, they are thin, cheap and easy.
I'm a pre prego 34DD, prego 36DDD, and have to say, they are looking really small these days compared to the 36 week belly.

thanks sooooo much ladies! i put on baby powder last night and it's starting to get better so i'm just gonna use it everyday and hopefully that will help!
BTW....i'm also in the 36-38DDD range, where do you all get cotton bras that fit?
