Took ds for a hair cut today and left in tears after crying with another mother...
So, this very jolly little boy walks into Cozy Cuts today and he says "I am ready Alice" (I guess they know the people there) This kid had a lot of hair (thick and big)
The stylist starts cutting it and the mother starts to cry. I am wondering what is going on. This boy is around 6-7 yrs. old. Obvioulsy not his first hair cut! 
Then the mother says "We used to count every strand of hair as it grew back after chemo and now we are cutting it all off. I can't believe I am doing this" So, of course, what happens...I start bawling like a complete fool because I thought what is wrong with this woman."
I walked over to her and said "Congratulations!" She grabbed my hand and said, "You have no idea"
Such a strong momma & little boy!

this soo has me balling .. what an amazing mother, and what an amazing trooper of a boy, I can't even begin to imagine.
My mom is going through this with my brother now, and he is 29.. I can't imagine if he was 6 or 7.

 I almost can't even hear things like this bc I get so emotional. I'm assuming the little boy is cancer free from the post..thank God
