Tooth Pain--??

Wondered if anyone has had this problem and could tell me what it is.

My back teeth, on one side, touches when I smile or eat or talk. My front teeth are not touching anymore and there is a small space in between the top and bottom.

Re: Tooth Pain--??

Anyone famiiliar with over-bite?

I went to the dentist a few months ago. He gave me a medicine filling on my back tooth that has been filled twice. He recommends I get my both wisdom teeth taken out. Now I am starting to have this problem and I am scared to death to get surgery.Chat Icon

getting wisdom teeth out is not as bad as you may think =)

i had 3 out, 2 of which were impacted and under the gums , and it was fine.

you don't feel a thing and they give you Vicodin usually afterChat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon

Re: Tooth Pain--??

I had a bad overbite that i had corrected with braces in my early 20's. was the best thing i ever did!

It kinda sounds like though you're teeth are shifitng and that happens with age. Totally normal. But if you are having pain from the wisdom teeth get them out asap!

I had 4 impacted teeth. the one on the bottom right was leaning on my back molar so much that the dentist was afraid it would start pushing and shift my teeth. after spending 3 yrs and $6k on braces, i wasnt ruining my teeth. SO i had them yanked.

I was deathly afraid and only did 2 at a time so i had to voluntarily go back for the 2nd surgery. It was fine. Get the anesthesia..you'll be knocked out and wont know a thing. The recovery was fine too. Little swelling, little bleeding and i was good as new in a day.

you dont want the tooth becoming infected because that will just give you a whole bunch of problems you dont want.
