Re: TOP load washer recommendations? Please recommend.
We have the GE High Efficiency 4.1 cubic foot top loading washer. We love it! It is a little hard to get used to in the bigging since it doesn't agitate very much and it uses a lot less water, but after we got over that, it was great! It handles a lot of loads and big washes (it's me, DH and 5 kids). We got ours last year at PC Richard and it was very reasonable too!! Check it out here. HTH!

Most of the newer models I've heard are manufactured by LG.

Glad its working out for you. We have this one and had lots of trouble with it. Doesnt rinse right, even though it rinses so many times, you cant interrupt it like other machines once its going to 'add one more thing' and it leaves soap on the clothes - I am so itchy (and using the special HE soap and the right amount etc) Also makes so much noise. The store we bought it from is working with us on exchanging thank goodness. Good luck finding one. I am still looking to see what we want instead.

Boo! That totally sux that it is giving you problems!! We did have a problem once with the soap not being rinsed out of the load, but that was my fault since I totally overloaded it with heavy items.
To the OP- if you do decide on the washer, I hope that it is as good for you as it is for me!! Maybe check out some reviews if you can find some online? Good luck!
