Total and Complete TMI - but AF after baby question...
you were warned...
it used to be - before Emma and for the majority of my life i would bleed whatever when i had my period and the last day - i'd clot a bit - that's how i always knew it was coming to an end honestly. It would come out when i tinkled or when i wiped - but never on the pad.
well - since Emma - holy LORD. Same thing - only when i tinkle or wipe - but the amount of clotting from DAY 1 is worrying me. i'm talking, darker than NIGHT, black clots... is this normal? does your blood flow change after a baby and that's why????
is this a sign of anemia or anything like that?
i'm sorry for the overshare - but when i went to the bathroom before - i seriously got nervous....

well I can't share the same experience but i can say my AF changed.
I 'started' two months pp. Now its been a year and I'm still a LOT heavier than I'm used to that first day or so. Freaks me out how much heavier but I never thought to ask and everytime I've seen an OBGYN I get a clean report so I guess its just natural and something my body has 'changed' to.
Guess we can't expect it to be EXACTLY as it was before .. ya know?

I would check with your OB just in case, but the first 2-3 periods I had PP were insane..I was bleeding thru super absorbancy tampons every hour and a half, and I had the mother of all cramps.
Now it's getting back to normal, but the first day, I bleed alot. But, if you're worried, check with them just in case.
