Totally crashing, but have a ? for you ladies... edit with new ?
How long after conception did you "feel" pregnant? I mean, symptoms. Nausea, fatigue, crampy twinges.... That kind of thing. I messed up on my bc pills and was also taking antibiotics and about 2 weeks ago DH and I BD'd with no protection and am not feeling well now but don't know if it's all in my head. TIA!!!!
ETA....So, since I messed up my birth control pill (forgot to bring them out of town, missed the last two weeks, started what I thought was my period that weekend) BD about a week and a half after, what would the chances be that I was ovulating then?????? And I was on Amoxicillan which negates the effectiveness of BC anyway.....

Re: Totally crashing, but have a ? for you ladies
I think it depends. There were months were I wasn't pregnant but I was worried I was and I had all these phantom symptoms- including heartburn. But I wasn't pregnant.
Then when I was actually pregnant I had very few symptons.... only really sore boobs practically IMMEDIAETLY after conception- which i chalked up to PMS.
Best bet- just take a test. It will put your mind at ease either way...
Good luck!

Thank you, isn't it too early to test? We are not TRYING to get preggo right now, but I can't say that that would be the worst thing in the world to give DS a sibling....

If I didn't KNOW that I was pregnant, I wouldn't be able to tell from my symptoms.
After I got my BFP I was able to look back and say "Ooohhhhh that is why I felt that way!" but only after the BFP was confirmed. Even now, I have no morning sickness, just fatigue - and to be honest I was ALWAYS complaining that I was tired anyway lol

My DS is a WILD MAN, so I don't know if I could count on fatigue as being one of my symptoms anymore..... LOL I'm always tired/fatigued.

The thing is that since I am on the pill I'm not sure when/if I ovulated. I messed up my pill and only took a week of pills, then went out of town and forgot them, so I bled that whole time. I took that as my period and started a new pack. Throw in there the antibiotics I was on for strep, that negate the effectiveness of the pill anyway, and I'm just TOTALLY confused. But I KNOW I don't feel right. It's so weird. But with a toddler I could just be worn out from a long weekend at home.

If it was 2 weeks - you might be able to try one of those early response tests. The digital one, no?
(I'm not very good with this stuff so if I'm wrong padon me! )

Re: Totally crashing, but have a ? for you ladies
Looking back, it was about 10 DPO that I had some symptoms (have to use hindsight since my cycles were wacky). I took a pregnancy test on vacation actually - I woke up one morning feeling pretty nauseous and thought maybe but didn't take the test right away. Then I had a dream I was pregnant so I took the test I brought with me the next day - BFN - decided I was making myself nuts and went back to enjoying the wine in Rome. When we got home though, still no AF and no symptoms. Took a test for the hell of it in the afternoon and it was finally positive - that was about 2 weeks from conception.

Re: Totally crashing, but have a ? for you ladies
I had extreme fatigue with all three pregnancies before AF was even due.
I never had nausea with my first 2 but it didnt kick in with this pregnancy until 6 or 7 weeks....

Re: Totally crashing, but have a ? for you ladies
I knew a few days before my AF was due but didn't take a test until the actual day. So 4 weeks. I had the usual breast tenderness and mild crampy feelings that I always get before AF but it was different. My breasts were EXTRA tender and the cramping was extra mild but consistent. I held off testing just in case and it was a pretty fast SOLID go for me.
Good luck =) It is so much fun when it happens by accident (at least for a 2nd)

Re: Totally crashing, but have a ? for you ladies
i knew right away and my instincts with this one have been strong the whole time. the fatigue came on quickly, as it had in the past, and I felt some sharp cramps at about 9dpo. My appetite kicked in after that but nausea didn't start right away. i was also very bloated from the start. it was the same with DD and the time I had a m/c.
