Town of brookhaven and leaf/tree pick up
Did they take a permanant break? I have had bagged leaves in front of my house for 3 weeks. What is going on?

Im in lake ronkonkoma. My whole block has bags of leaves and trees waiting. It just looks gross.

Im in lake ronkonkoma. My whole block has bags of leaves and trees waiting. It just looks gross.
Call them tomorrow and tell them it has been out there...maybe they will have a truck come get it.

What week is your pickup on the calendar? Did they miss a week?
Our March only had 1 week of pickup for lawn stuff (I think the first week), but I think we have two in April.

Our calendar is a weekly pick up, to be put out by sat night and picked up at anyday during the week. Im calling this morning.

Our March only had 1 week of pickup for lawn stuff (I think the first week), but I think we have two in April.
Thats what mine says march 6 - 12.
Then 2 weeks in april.

What did they say?
This is our calendar, and it doesn't look like anyone has more than one week of pickup for yard waste in March.

FWIW, I grew up in that town and we would pile up leaves in Oct/Nov and they would be there ALL winter into the spring every year! Don't hold your breath about them being cleared anytime soon!

I called, she said it starts next week for pick up. I asked why then over the summer and fall I had weekly pickup, she said those are prime months, so more pick ups.
