Town of Islip - camper question on property
I am in the town of Islip. My neighbor purchased a huge camper at the end of September. He created a second driveway on our anointing property lines. It is set back from the road maybe 8-10 feet and is parked about 25-30 feet from the front of his house. It's a huge eyesoar and completely blocks my view down the street.
Does anyone know if there are zoning laws prohibiting this?
I figured it was parked there for the winter and would be taken on trips/moved in the spring/summer. It has never been moved. It's brand new. ive been watching to see if it's being lived in, but I haven't seen anything to indicate that until this weekend.
I plan on calling the town, but I figured I'd see if anyone has some experience with this.

I'm in the Town of Islip also. I believe he can park a personal trailer overnight at his property....a ton of people in my neighborhood have them and do it.
However, he would have needed permit for the second driveway. I think in Islip you are only allowed 35% or less of your front yard square footage to be used as a driveway.
