toys/ stuffed animals in crib?
when is it ok to put stuffed animals /toys/small blanket animals in the crib? and what types of toys can u leave in there w/ 4-6 months olds when they are unattended?

I wouldn't leave anything in the crib at 4-6 months.

I put two stuffed animals at the foot of his bed when he was like 6 months. He barely plays with them.

I just started to put her "George" in with her at night and she is 10 months. She was giving me a problem going to bed and this helped tremendously.

I had the stuffed animals at the foot of the crib when she was not rolling. Now that she rolls I've taken everything out other than the crib mirror thingy.

Steven always had his Lion Heart bear in the crib. Now he has two bears and he's 10 months. He sleeps with both of them, each arm over each bear
He also always slept with a blanket. Now that we don't have the AC on, I take it out if he doesn't need it.

too cute!
thanx for the responses! a friend of mine suggested i put some toys in his crib b/c he isn't napping well and his crib was empty. i thought it was too early. i 'm going o wait at least 6 more months. thanx again!
