Trader Joe's Chocolate Cat Cookies - Question
Warning... nutty question... I am a HUGE fan of Trader Joe's Chocolate Cat cookies... just recently, I feel like they've changed the recipe and they're less chocolatey?
I actually returned a box thinking I got a bad one (it tasted like all of the cat cookie flavors combined) but when I got new ones it was the same.. they aren't as brown and they don't taste as chocolatey...
Am I losing my mind?

I agree! They are a lighter brown now and much less chocolatey. I thought I bought the wrong ones at first! I am very disappointed too.

Re: Trader Joe's Chocolate Cat Cookies - Question
You're completely right! I bought a container last week and was excited because it's been a while since I have had them and when I ate one I thought, ehhhh, not as chocolately as I remembered. They kind of just taste like nothing. I am going to stick to the cinnamon ones in the future

Re: Trader Joe's Chocolate Cat Cookies - Question
I got a response from Trader Joe's....
Thank you for providing this valuable feedback. We would like to extend our apologies for the disappointing experience you had with our Trader Joe's Chocolate Cat Cookies. I have notified our Quality Assurance Manager and the appropriate buyer regarding your experience, and we will continue to monitor this product for future trends. We believe that quality is essential to good value, and that's what we are all about! I also wanted to make sure you are aware of our "Product Guarantee." If you are dissatisfied with any product purchased in our stores, you can take it, the empty package or receipt back to any of our neighborhood stores for an exchange or full refund. We stand behind our motto, "We tried it! We liked it! If you don't, bring it back for a full refund, no questions asked."
I encourage other chocolate fans to write, the more complaints we get to that quality assurance manager, the better!

I noticed it, too. I also raised hell over them changing their chocolate raspberry bars. They used to be sooooooo good
