Training a dog to poo/pee in the yard who is used to walks
Question is, how can you get your dog to pee or poo in your yard if they are used to long walks? Is this possible? Help please?

Rudy has stage fright he wont poop on a walk. As far as pee Rudy has to pee on everything. By the end of our walk he lifts his leg and nothing comes out

Try making the walk a "treat" If they go in the yard, reward them with a long walk. If they won't go in the yard, then don't take them on the walk. They'll learn quickly if that's what they are used to.

Try putting the leash on them when they are in the yard and walk around the premise...or in the area you want them to use for potty...when they go give a treat.... once they get the hang of it take them off the leash

Both my dogs were used to being walked when we lived in the condo. When we moved to our house we just let them out and they just did what came natural. They had no problems adjusting.
