Transfering a sleeping baby to car seat in the AM

So I went back to work today and instead of waking DD @ 6:30am (she usually sleeps until 8:30) I attempted to put her in the car seat while she was sleeping but she was in a sleep sack (I didn't think ahead) so I tried to just unzip it to get her legs out and put her in the car seat but she woke up. Tonight I am going to see if she will sleep in fleece PJ's with a long sleeve onsie on instead.

Has anyone been successful with transfering a sleeping baby in the morning??

No Kaydyn usually woke up...but sometimes if I strapped her in and gave her a bottle immediately she would drift back to sleep....then my MIL would just feed her the rest of the bottle once we got to her house.

i do it every day. I put his little fleece bear suit on while he sleeps, then carry him outside.

he usually wakes up when the cold hits his face (even though i have it covered), but he falls right back to sleep once i start moving.

You could put the kid to bed in the carseat.

ITs hit or miss for us. Sometimes he wakes up, sometimes he doesn't. Sometimes even if he wakes up he'll fall asleep again. He sleeps in a sleepsack and we take him out if it in the morning. Its so hard, I feel so guilty when he wakes up.
