transferring to ny as a teacher
k some background...im in fl now, got my b.a. in ny and subbed for 6 mos on long island - my husband and i are expecting our first child together and may move up to ny, if possible. i've been teaching in fl for 4 yrs and i have my masters for a fl state college. my provisional certificate hasnt expired and ive taken the LAST ATSW and passed both....
so, can i transfer easily to ny, will they accept the atsvideo if its from fl using ny standards for teh piece? etc. etc.

have you check online for info? I can't help in that area, but I think of more concern should be is....can you find a job here?

i doubt it.
i went to school and was certified in VA and had to get reciprocity and do all the NY tests (including video) even though i had done it in VA
call BOCES. they will know

You took all the tests so you should be ok.
NYS will probably make you do another video though.
