Transition to milk
Mikayla will be 1 in 2 weeks so I wanted to start the transition. How did you do this? Do I mix formula with milk first

If I go right to milk, do I give her the same amount of ounces she is used to? (she drinks about 22-26 ounces a day of formula now)

With Nate we did it over 1.5-2 weeks. Starting eliminating the mid-day bottles then the morning and night one at a time. I waited 2-3 days. I did it that way bc he was on Soy formula and we wanted to see if he would have a reaction to it.

DD's ped. said to mix it to make sure she gets used to it. She loves her milk. Even wants more when she is done.

did you just do it slowly or one day started mixing each bottle with milk? Did you do 1/2 formula and 1/2 milk?

I am in the process of this now. I started with one ounce milk to 5 oz formula...the 2-4 then 3-3 and tomorrow we will start 4-2...I like doing it slow to make sure ds's tummy agrees with it

I did half and half in the bottles for one day and then I went straight to all milk the next.
I just wanted to try and get him used to the taste first.
