Transitioning to milk...did anyone have problems with their DC not liking it???

Im starting to transition DS to milk starting today, but already i see it a problem. I just made his oatmeal with milk and he wanted no part of it.

I am definitely transitioning it and not doing it cold turkey. My DS is very stubborn and im nervous he will never like milk.

Has anyone had big time problems with it?

Yes, and we did a very slow transition to milk.

DD will not have any part of it. We have tried to trick her every which way possible, but she is a little smarty pants and catches onto us right away.

I have increased her dairy intake via food and she will drink the yogurt smoothies. I am going to start making them myself though to cut down on the sugar the YoBaby yogurt drinks have. We have even tried to put a "splash" of milk into the yogurt drinks, but she knows the difference.

My ped said to just keep doing what we're doing, some kids just really dislike milk. (DH and I HATE milk, so she must get that from us).
