Travel Bed for kids?

DD sleeps at my mom's at least one night a month. We spend at least one night in PA once every other month or so, sometimes more.

She usually sleeps in the P&P, but at 38 inches and 40 lbs, she's really outgrown it.

I'm researching online, and I see my options are either a blow up bed or cot. Not sure i like the cot, because I think she'll fall out and it really doesn't look comfortable. She sleeps in a twin bed at home, with bed rails.

Anyone have an reccs? Experiences? Suggestions?

Aerobed makes a toddler bed that has raised sides. I bought it when we traveled to Europe last year for my DD. She loved it. We used it all over the place and continue to use it when we have overnight guests. I found it on Amazon for under $75. HTH

I don't know anything about the toddler sized Aerobed, but I do know that pretty recently, Target in Medford had it on clearance! It was about $40! It was in the back of the store, near where the furniture and tablecloths are.

I have The Shrunks blow up toddler bed for both my boys for travelling. The newer model has a pop out mattress that allows you to use a fitted crib sheet on it. The sides are raised which does not allow them to fall out.

My boys are both 35+lbs & over 40 inches in height & they are comfy.
