Traveling by air with a 10 week old
My husband and I are going to San Francisco later this month. Our son will be 10 weeks old at the time. Does anyone have suggestions for us? We are flying for the first time with a newborn and I want to make sure that everything is planned ahead of time. My son is formula fed.
Thanks ladies!!

Make sure you bring PLENTY of formula with you. If you use powder, then I suggest bringing an entire small container with you and bottled water. If you use RTF, then bring an entire quart.
For even the SHORTEST flights, I have always packed an entire days worth of diapers and formula because you NEVER know if you are going to be the ones stuck on the tarmac for hours on end.
Also, I suggest bringing 2 pacifiers (if you use them) in case one gets lost, and I suggest wearing your baby in a sling or wrap because getting through security with a stroller is a PITA, and that way baby feels you close and is content and comfortable.

Thank you Mrs. G! Can I still bring the stroller with me? I thought I was supposed to check it at the gate. I need to call the airline to get the "new rules".

We took Kaila on a plane at 6 weeks.. and she slept the whole time. The whole way there and the whole way back.
I just saw your flight is going to be a little longer than ours was.. so I agree with everything the PP said. Im sure it wont be that bad..
