Tree cleanup - who is responsible

One of the trees in our yard (technically owned by the town) had a limb fall down in the middle of the road. It's not blocking traffic and its not that large, we could pull it in the yard...

But who is responsible for breaking it up? Will the town come around with a chipper or something, or are we responsible to break it down, tie it up, etc?
