tree trimming
We just got a quote to trim the branches of our big maple tree in the back yard. The branches are scraping along the roof so we need this cut back from there and away from the power lines of the house.
The quote was 450 to go 6-10ft up from the roof and clear the limbs from the power/cable lines.
Anyone know if this is reasonable or in the ball park, we are in Levittown LI.

i just used them and they did a great job. they beat my other estimate so i went with them. not sure about the price for just trimming b/c we also had a large tree from the front removed and a stump ground. i would try to get 2-3 estimates and go from there. when i called, they came the next day for the estimate and 3 days later to do the work.

We use All Tree Service - we've had them remove 10 tree stumps from our back yard, remove a butterfly tree including roots, and just recently did tree trimming for dead branches we couldn't reach cause they were above the house line.
