I don't think anything is going to bring on labor if the baby isn't ready to come out yet.

Oh my GOD Tiffany - that sounds awful - sounds like when I decided to take Correctol for my constipation - that was the worst pain ever....

Geez woman - what did I say - stick to the sex and nipple action - even if it doesnt work, it sounds like a lot more fun than what you went thru last night!!!!

OK call me a party pooper but -- if you are only 36 weeks WHY are you TRYING to get the baby out?? Aren't you worried about it being underweight or anything like that? I know 36 weeks is OK, but you aren't "done" yet...Chat Icon

I have had dislocated ribs for the last 3.5 months due to this pregnancy. The baby is measuring at almost 7 lbs already and is fine is size. The doctors are afraid my ribs will break and I will be forced to have a C Section, which I really don't want. I have endometriosis and didn't have regular cycles, so there really wasn't a way to get an accurate EDD, so as the pregnancy went on, they started to think I was a little further along then they originally guessed, but there is no way to prove it. So they wanted to wait until I at least hit the 36 wk mark to start anything to be safe.

Sounds painful!! My sister had broken ribs from her last baby. Why don't they just induce you though?
