Trigger Shot Question
If you take the trigger shot- does BDing 24 hours and 48 hours sound right? Some research says you ovulate 36 hours after the shot so it would seem the 48 hour "event" would be pointless- esp. being that the sperm need time to travel. Has anyone's dr recommended other timing?

Re: Trigger Shot Question
The way I look at it... the egg needs to travel too.... into the fallopian tubes and you are doing a "double-hit".
I have my IUIs about at time of ovulation (a bit before). never did the trigger and timed BD.
If sperm is normal, the more the better & you prob need 24 hrs to get any reinforcements ready in the sperm department.
Good luck.

Re: Trigger Shot Question
when i triggered and did IUIs, the 24 and 48 hours IUIs did the trick for me and I think I O'ed around 30-34 hours after trigger. if you don't have any MF issues, I say go for it!

Re: Trigger Shot Question
Last cycle, I triggered the morning of CD12 and my RE said to BD that night and 36 hours after. We also BD'd 48 hours after, just for good measure!
Good luck!
