Trying for baby #2 after baby #1
Is anyone going to be trying for Baby #2 soon after Baby #1 is born?
DH & I spoke about this and we'd like to have two kids really close in age. Obviously we're going to see how it goes with baby #1 before we start ttc baby #2 but just wondering if anyone is in the same boat.
Do you know how long they say you have to wait to ttc after you give birth?

we've talked about it. Havent gotten that far past the discussion part yet we have to see how things work out with this little one first. As for how long you have to wait, i believe that your doc's may want you to wait a few months. But some people have babies that are 11 months apart.

DH wants our kids very close in age. I think he'd like to start trying right away.
I originally wanted to start trying when our baby is 2 years old.
After having such a miserable pregnancy, I want to wait like 5 years. I don't know if I can go through this again.

We got pregnant through IVF. My *tentative* plan is once the baby is a year old, we will try naturally. Maybe it will work- maybe it won't. I just want to enjoy trying naturally for awhile and enjoy my baby that we worked so hard for.
If after a year we aren't pregnant- we will start transferring our frozen embryo's.

We got pregnant through IVF & still have eggs frozen. Our plan is to go see our RE when the baby is 6 months old to discuss our options. Chances are, we will be trying again when the baby is 8-9 months old...We don't want to waste anytime bc we will not be doing another whole cycle & only what we have frozen.

DS and the new baby are going to be 18 months apart. It wasn't exactly how DH and I planned it, but we're excited! It's nice to think about how close in age they'll be since my brothers and I are 13 years apart. What's scaring us most is the cost of daycare for two!

We got pg through IVF so our plan for the first year is whatever happens happens - if it does happen on it's own before a year then we will definitely be happy. After a year I think we'll look into using our frozen embies. I'm not really in a rush...pg hasn't been bad but I thik I want my body back for a while.

I had a fabulous pregnancy and we we be trying this summer or this fall! Likely be 2 under 2 club!!!

Since we did IVF, we are praying that we will be able to have a 2nd child. We are planning to do a frozen embryo transfer when our first child is at least a year old. I want to be able to devote the first whole year to the one I have on the way now!

Ideally, I would like there to be a 2 year age difference, so I guess once this baby is born, I will wait about a year and start again

Same here, so far so good, but it is still early for me, just getting into the second trimester! But we'll probably start trying when LO is 1 year old. I want to enjoy time with the baby without the fatigue I felt during most of the first trimester.

I know I want at least 3 kids, and I'll be 30 this month so I definitely want them closer in age. I may wait a little while after DD arrives, appreciate when I'm not pregnant and then try again and have #2 and #3 close together. Gotta mentally prepare for that, lol.

ideally, we wanted our babies to be 2 years apart.
but since you can't really plan such things and it took several months to conceive last time, we started trying when DS was a year old. we were blessed to get pregnant right away, so the babies will be about 22 months apart.
