trying to cut out carbs..

i am a total carboholic.. i am trying to cut them out to lose weight and today is day 1. when do the carb cravings go away??? Chat Icon i want a big fat bagel or slice of pizza right now... Chat Icon Chat Icon

it takes a while. i think your best bet is to do it gradually if you are used to eating pizza and bagels all the time and fill up on protein

i would love to know this answer too! i know carbs are my downfall, but it's sooo difficult for my to cut them out completely.

You do not have to cut carbs out your diets completely..the goal is to choose the right ones that are beneficial to you and watch portion sizes! Our bodies need carbohydrates for energy but you have to know which are good and which are bad. FM me for more info..Chat Icon

I LOVE LOVE LOVE carbs...and I am on day 2 cutting them out. I started the 17 day diet yesterday and for the first 17 days there are no carbs - apart from fruit and veg. Believe me yesterday was tough..I nearly store the cracker off my toddlers plate but I persevered and I am hoping to get through this stage without losing my mind..its hard. Once the 17 days is over I Can gradually introduce carbs back into my diet.
