Trying to eat healthy - are "egg beaters" the same as egg whites?

I'm making myself an omlet for lunch (craving eggs) with mushrooms, onions, peppers, and lowfat cheese. Instead of using actual egg whites I was going to use egg beaters. Is it the same or not as healthy?

I do it. Never thought about it being different.

I actually started buying the carton on egg whites to make it easier for me to make omlettes after I work out

so I recently compared the lables of the egg beaters and the egg whites

I substitute them all the time since i eat so many of them! Some egg beaters have a gram of carbs in them that you wouldn't get in actual egg white but other than that the macronutrients are the same!

Go for the whites only - (they sell them in a container).

Egg Beaters have an extremely long ingredient list.

does anyone know how many eggs are in one carton of Just whites?
I buy Bj's big pack of eggs (I think 5 dz)

Egg beaters are a processed food given a choice I always choose the LEAST processed option. Nutritionally they are similar. The egg beaters have more sodium.

I should have been clear, I use the liquid egg whites from costco but they are more similar to egg beaters in texture than regular egg whites. For me, I prefer the taste and consistency more and the ingredient list in this particular brand didn't turn me off.
