Can I ask what you're having done? I must have missed the original post.
I am having a diagnostic laparoscopy and hysteroscopy as well as a D and C. I have a very stenotic cervix as a result of a laser procedure/cone biopsy that left scarring. The scarring is preventing me from getting pregnant. At the same time, my tubes will be checked since I was not able to complete an HSG because the opening of my cervix is too narrow to accept a catheter without causing damage. I have to be put out under a general anesthetic. The whole thing wont take very long but will give the doctor a lot of information - enough to figure out where to go from here.
