Re: Tummy Tuck anyone?????
Yes, my mother. Just had it done last yr, before my wedding (not for that reason).
She looks amazing and loves it!
ETA: My thoughts: I personally didnt think she needed any work because she remains thin and has taken care of her body. I do understand y she did it and being age 50...it was for herself and no one else. She had 3 kids (blames us, ) and no matter how hard she tried, she had excess skin that hung around and made her feel insecure and uncomfortable.
Now, she is more secure, fits into pants 2 sizes less that what she was and very happy with her results.

Dr. Romanelli in Huntington My good friend works for him.
Her recovery was actually not bad at all but my mom has a high tolerance for pain. Within two days she was walking. I know that she was not able to lift anything for a bit and laughing and coughing was a tad difficult.

I think I'd get my upper arms done before a tummy tuck... My family has blessed me with thunder arms... No matter what I do, they never go away... I'd definitely get them worked on after kids...

My bf had a botched one done by a Dr in Garden City. Her stomach is worse now then before the surgery. The scar is horrendous!

Re: Tummy Tuck anyone?????
My GF had one done. She had it re-done because another doc didn't do such a great job. She went to Dr. Peter Neumann in Great Neck. He is my doc as well.
I would have one after I have a baby. I've already had breast surgery and he did a great job.
I would also have an eye lift, and mini face lift. But I don't think I would do anything else.
Is there anything else?
I guess I'm not afraid of it and I believe if it makes you feel good about yourself, it's worth it.

Re: Tummy Tuck anyone?????
My mom, my aunt, and my cousin all had tummy tucks. My mom & aunt had it done years after they were done having children. My mom has always been thin, but no amount of diet or exercise could get rid of the excess skin on her belly from having kids. Her results were great. But she went to the Dominican Republic to do it... which I think is nuts but it only cost her about $2 - 3k. My cousin got an insane amount of work done for around $5k - maybe less -there... she got a tummy tuck, lots of lipo, and a breastlift all in one shot.
