For my DH's 30th we rented out a bar in the city and had a 3 way bday party with his twin brother and friend who all have bdays the same week.
Mine is in a few months and we're going to Paris! And I'm doing a spa day with my 3 girlfriends beforehand to celebrate all of our 30th's.

I threw a big Luau 30th for my DH. Mine is in July. I really don't want a party, we are going away for most of the summer and that is enough money to spend and the best present!

we have a big group of friends ( DHs friends frmo HS) and we'll all be turning 30 the same year. so we decided that instead of having a bunch of 30th birthday parties, we're all gonna go on a cruise for a week to celebrate all of them at once. that won't be till 2010, but i'm looking forward to it!
