Re: Turtle Necks

The majority of my sweaters are turtle necks, but yes, there are a few that annoy the heck out of me. I guess if they're too tight. Unforutnately, you never really know until you get to work and realize it's super uncomfortable! Chat Icon

I like wearing them on really cold days under a sweater. it's perfect for layering with other tops as well.

Re: Turtle Necks

I chose other because I absolutely love the look and style of them, but can't deal with them! I find them very uncomfortable, but really wish I could wear them!

Same with me.

I tried on a sweater dress at the Gap and the neck was too tight and it was horrible!

I don't like them and never wear them. I don't like having things wrapped around my throat. Plus I am generally warm anyway - a turtleneck makes me uncomfortably hot.

I can wear them BUT they need to have a big neck. I hate tight turtlenecks.

I gag...literally...almost puke

I have no clue why.

I wish I could wear them everyday in the winter b/c i like the way they look on me, but I just cant.

Sometimes i'll attempt it if it has a looser fit, but usually I end up going home and changing.

This also happens if I wear a scarf and have it too tight. I thought I was the only one.

Re: Turtle Necks

Nope, can't wear them, feel like I am being choked. I can't wear anything that goes tight around my neck.

Re: Turtle Necks

Only loose sweatery ones.

The ones that are cotton and tight around the neck make me gag and feel like I can't breathe.

Plus I have a really long neck, so I think they look weird on me.

Re: Turtle Necks

I wear mock t-necks. The regular ones just have too much fabric around the neck for my liking. I do like the high neck to keep me warm in the winter, though, especially since I am sometimes outside for work.

Re: Turtle Necks

Wear them, don't love all of them bc if it is tight around the neck it does make me gag. I like the looser light sweater ones.

Re: Turtle Necks

I will wear turtleneck sweaters, but I do not wear cotton turtlenecks under other things. I can't stand them. I don't like how they feel and I don't like how they look.

Re: Turtle Necks

I don't like them personally, although I like the way they look. I have always hated the feeling of anything touching my neck, in fact even the shirt I had on yesterday had such a high neck line I was constantly pulling on it.

I enjoy wearing them! Of course the material matters, otherwise they can annoy me! But, for a good outfit..I would most likely still wear it! Chat Icon Chat Icon
