Re: Turtle Necks
I can honestly say that I don't think I have ever worn a turtle neck. I definitely don't have one in my closet right now. And its not cause I hate them, I think they look really cute. I should go out and buy one today.

Re: Turtle Necks
I like them, as long as they aren't too tight or overly high. The really tight ones do make me feel like I'm going to gag.
my sister can't wear them at all.

Re: Turtle Necks
I have no problem with them. I wear them to ride my horses through the winter.
I do know several people who have said that they feel like turtle necks choke them... and Mitch Hedberg has said wearing a turtle neck and a backpack "is like being strangled by a really weak midget."

Re: Turtle Necks
I guess if you like your neck and throat free I can see how it may make you gag. Me? I don't wear them because they are VERY unflattering for big boobies. They just make them look bigger. Well, on me anyways. I don't know about everyone else.

Re: Turtle Necks
I used to HATE them but then someone bought me a sweater one and I realized I just don't like the plain cotton ones...the sweater turtle necks are just more comfortable. One of my favorite items of clothing is a pink sweater turtle neck....never would've thought that a few years ago !

Re: Turtle Necks
I have a giraffe neck... long and skinny, so they generally are a bit loose on me.... and never reach the top of my neck
LOVE THEM when it's chilly out

Re: Turtle Necks
I love them, but I must have a small neck or something because they tend to look slightly slouchy on me.

Unless it is really loose fit, no way. Just can't take the smothering all day.

Re: Turtle Necks
I've always hated them, even when I was a kid. IDK why, I just don't like the way they look and feel on me.

Re: Turtle Necks
I wear them every now and them because I think they look good. But they drive me a little batty... they make me feel like I am being choked slowly and lightly. Like by a very subtle murderer who is trying to strangle me - but not be noticed. It's a peculiar type of torture.
And yet.. I still put myself through it.
