Twin Carts?
How about we start a list of stores that have carts big enough for twins?
I only know of BJs and Costco.
And my King Kullen (LIndenhurst) has a cart with a plastic seat attachment for two older kids (toddler/preschooler).
Anyone find stores with double carts? I wish Target had them!
Any tricks for shopping with the twins from been-there/done-that moms?

i shop at king kullen even though i like the stop n shop by me better just b/c of the double cart!

i think i overheard a worker in Stop and Shop saying they were getting bigger carts , that they were double. but not 100% sure

That would be awesome! Granted now that we are a family of 5, I can do most of my shopping at BJs/Costco at some point, but not all the time!

Sort of off topic but having to do with shopping carts, did anyone ever put their twins' infant seats in shopping carts? When I was reading reviews of some car seats, I read complaints about not being able to fit some brands in a shopping cart but I thought I read you're not supposed to put car seats in shopping carts anyway.
I have to start finding out what stores by me have double shopping carts...I know I saw them at BJ's but I don't shop there a lot.

target has no idea how much $ they are losing by not having a double cart for me and forcing me to only get what can fit under my stroller!

i tried putting them in the seat together and they cried. i guess they are just not used to it

You have to use the cart with the car on the front----it has room for 2 kiddies up top!
We've also used them at Shop Rite.

I saw your picture and that is what inspired my post!
You should see the scene I cause now with one bucket up top and one in the cart trying to jam food around them and keep track of my 4 year old DD!

my twins are 9 months old and i do not take them shopping alone with me for this reason!
we finally went to costco the other day though and it was amazing bc of the cart!
i use the "car" shopping cart at stop & shop and king kullen with my 3 yo allllll the time...you think i would have noticed that it was a "double" right!! im gonna have to check it out ASAP!

maybe we should all write to target b/c life would be so much easier.
if im alone i have a hand cart packed and then whatever i can shove on the stroller i try to just get my shopping done on lunch breaks now...

The stop and shop by me doesn't have double carts. So annoying b/c I can never bring both boys with me unless I put them both in the basket part which I skeeve and there is no room.

I have 2 King Kullens by me in Manorville/Eastport and neither has double carts. They do have the red car cart, but that doesn't usually work for us. I would love it if Target would get double carts. I'll write a letter. Babies R' Us too!
