uggghh...one of my eye glass lenses has a scratch in it

DS pulled them off my face and they dropped on the floor. Are they able to just order the lens and replace it in the office or are they going to have to send my glasses in to replace the lens?

If they are glass lenses I think they can fix the scratch...depending upon how deep a scratch it is.

If they still carry your frame and they have a pattern, they can get the lense in and have you come in with your glasses and do it on the spot. My latest lenses have a guarantee against scratching, so you may want to check on whether yours do.

Little known fact: I worked in the eyeglass industry for 6 months before I went to law school. I hardly bring it up anymore but I just was discussing it with the optician when I bought my glasses.

yes they can.. i work for davis vision right now and with the way they make them now is once they are scrached the lens needs to be replaced. if the place you got them done has your rx in stock they should be able to replace them in about an hour. if not it may take up to 10 days (usually sooner) to replace them. where did you get them? let me know if i can help you anymore.
