Ugh - bad news (sitter related)
My sitter, who mikayla LOVES just called to tell me that she got a job teaching at her church and she is starting next thursday...I have to find someone to watch my dd 2 days a week....I am freaking out...Mikayla LOVED it there

That really does stink, I'm sorry Hopefully she's got a recommendation for you. Will Mikayla still see her the rest of the week? Sounds like they have a good bond.

mikayla will be there on thursday and friday of this week. I mean, she had a sweet deal there, 5 kids to play with, her own crib to nap in, the whole 9 yards.....

the lady I sit for lives in fear that one day I will give her my notice call.
its a hard situation to be in.
can mikayla go to work with you and you be able to interview at night and on the weekends?
most nannies that I hang out with are all on craigslist.

That bites bc it's someone that she loves, but also bc it's kind of short notice for you to make other arrangements. Hope you find something soon. Can you use the emergency daycare options through your work until you find something? (I think it was you who posted about it once).
We have a similar situation like you where Jayden goes to ILs 3 days/week and a babysitter 2 days/week. We'll need to look for other arrangements at the beginning of the year bc the babysitter is pg and is taking 4-6 months off. But at least we have 6+ months to plan for it.

we have backup daycare through work that I can use for a few days if need be. I am sure I will find something, thanks for the support girls
