ugh so over the selling process
Sorry need to vent. We have been in contract with buyers for our home for almost 2 months now. They had put they wanted to clost by Septemeber 15th so that gave them till October 15th technically to close. Well today is what oct 6th and I just found out they don't even have there commitment letter yet... I just don't see them having all there ducks in a row to close anytime soon, meanwhile my home is almost all packed up we are paying for a storage unit we could of waited for apparently.. Its just soo frustrating to have to wait for other ppl and there banks to get to what the need ready...
Ok sorry vent over..

Have your attorney contact the buyers attorney- When we were buying our house our mortgage processor was a nightmare to work with- I provided her with things that she swore she never received, etc. I felt so helpless. Once the sellers attorney started putting a bit of pressure on the bank things proceeded a bit faster. My original closing date was on or about 2/28 and we did not actually close until 4/4- I had my commitment inJANUARY! My attorney kept an open line of communication with the sellers and their attorney and it did help reassure everyone that we were seriously working to get our mortgage. The banks are making the mortgage process much more difficult than in the past. Hang in there.
