Ugh, the MMR hit Cailen hard!!! I am stranded home today!!!
He had 104.9 today, his heart was racing, and he was lethargic.
It was a bit disconcerting....
His ped told me to bring him right over 
The good news was that by the time when we got there, the motrin I gave him kicked in, and he was running all over the place...
My ped said it may be the whole weekend of fever and motrin - at least we'll be rained in....

awww... it is so sad to see them like that
I hope he feels better soon.
Gavin has gotten 2 rounds of shots (June and August) and both time he ran a fever and just didn't feel good.

OH NO - poor little guy! This was my biggest fear with the MMR - I felt like I held my breath for 15 days. Praying last night was the worst of it!

I'm so sorry this happened with us with DD we lost thursday, friday and Sat of 4th of July weekend (she had 104 and got a rash). It is so hard to see them like that. I don't think the reaction lasts more than 1-3 days though - I hope he feels better soon

Thanks ladies!!!
He woke up normal time this morning - 6AM, and I brought him into bed the way i usually do to let him have his milk. Then he usually is up and we go downstairs to play.
this morning, he curled up on my bed and went back to sleep -until 8:30!!!!!!
He is 17 mts old and NEVER, EVER slept past 6:30AM!!!!!
