Ultra pastuerized/ Organic milk
I've been drinking organic milk which is ultra pastuerized and yesterday DH told me he read that pregnany women should not drink ultra pastuerized milk. Was anyone told by their doctor not to drink ultra pastuerized milk? I'm going to stop drinking this and go back to regular milk until my next dr visit but I'm just wondering if this is common knowledge.

I doubt it? We can't eat or drink things that are not pastuerized, maybe he is getting it confused?

No, I read about it too. Ultra pastuerized milk is processed at a higher temperature for a shorter amount of time so it has a longer shelf life and apparantly that's not good for us?

I've read that too. Not all organic milk is ultra-pasteurized though.
I get the whole foods brand which is pasteurized the regular way.
