Um, is my kid the only 2 yo who thinks I'm lying about Santa?
Ok, seriously, she's 2. She called me out on the whole Santa thing the other day. She was being fresh, and I said, "Ava, you better stop being fresh because Santa Claus is watching. He only brings toys to good little girls." She looked at me with that look of "ok, I'll take the bait" and said, "Really?" So I told her again and her response? "Um, NO, Mommy. YOU buy the toys, NOT Santa. That's not true."  What the hell? Am I that bad of a liar?

She might just think that you help Santa out with buying the toys?! She has to still believe-I hope!!?? Have her watch the Polar Express-it made our boys believe a little longer!

You are in some serious trouble with that brillant little girl. If it makes you feel any better, Grace who isn't even two yet, laughed at me today when I told her she better be good since Santa is watching.

Nah, not my 2 year old, she doesn't care either way! But my 4 year old is on to me, telling me he knows I bought Lauren her camera so there is no way Santa is bringing it!

olivia is the same way we tell her that the gifts are going back or santas going to take them and she told michael thats ok mommy can buy me new ones at the toy store.

Your kid is not the only one.... My friends' DD was under two when her grandfather dressed as Santa. She looked right into his eyes and said, "Poppa is Santa." Not a question... a statement.... it was fact! Nothing was getting past her.
