Un-Feriggin-Believable incident in BRU last night
I had to get some stuff for DS, in addition to a baby gift, so I took DS & went to BRU. I take him in the stroller still, since he tries to climb out of the cart. A few moms shopping there had strollers, and it was a little busy. There were several young girls there shopping from a registry. We were in one of the aisles where all the nipples, brushes, feeders, etc are. Several of us had our strollers next to us, and the aisle got crowded for maybe a second. Anyway, the young girls got very impatient very quickly and actually USED THEIR CART to push one of the strollers out of their way The mother of course said something, being that her baby was still in the stoller. The girls just laughed & cursed at the woman & called her a cow. They then had the nerve to tell her that her "fat a$$" should not take up the whole aisle while others are trying to shop:ahh . Um hello it is a BABY STORE, not friggin Aeropostale.
An employee came over and instead of throwing them the hell out, they HELPED THEM SHOP. W T F?
Last time I set foot in BRU.

You see? Stuff like this is why I think some people should be in a zoo and not among the general population. Had I been that woman who was being insulted, I would have punched that dumb b*tch out and then said I tripped over my stroller. Idiot.

It doesnt surprise me....some people $uck. When I was pregnant noone cared. They wouldnt hold doors for me, someone actually almost ran me over in a BRU parking lot b/c they were in such a "rush". Now that I have DS, whether I am pushing him in a cart or in a stroller, people still DONT hold the door for me and still drive like crazy past me in a parking lot.

OMG, me too! That's why I try not to go to that store. You think they would be a little more mother-to-be friendly. Butt holes.

I can't even imagine what I would have done. I must say, I have been keeping my composure much better since Troy was born, especially when he's with me.
And I find, the older I get the LESS patience I have for the young!

I will be honest- I used to get offended when people would tell me that people from NY were rude when I would travel. I always thought of these stories as isolated incidents.
Now that I live out of state, the idea of something like that happening is UNREAL to me. If something like that happened in a BRU near me, the person would be escorted out and asked not to return. Everyone here opens doors, takes their time and I rarely encounter rudeness. Its stories like this that make me glad I left.
