Uncomfortable at nite.. How are you girls doing it ..
First off i bow down to those who are past their due date and so uncomfortable right now. I dont know how you are holding it together. Right now it is 330 am and im in sooo much pain and discomfort. I know its not contractions and nothing regular to time. I cant sleep because no position is comfortable... my stomach feels so full like i just ate a 10 course meal now and is hard up top, and yes the back pain. I see OB tonite not that it matter im sure that this is all the joys of 3rd trimester. Ill be 37 weeks on sat. TMI warning... Did i mention that the I feel like i am constantly going #2. All i want is too sleep Thanks for letting me whine even though i know i really shouldnt because their are some girls further along then me.

Re: Uncomfortable at nite.. How are you girls doing it ..
I'm 34 weeks, and I'm finding sleeping uncomfortable, too. It hasn't really been a problem until now. My belly feels so heavy that turning over is a whole process, not to mention the constant need to get up to go to the bathroom.
Hang in there...it's the home stretch!

Re: Uncomfortable at nite.. How are you girls doing it ..
I am due the day before you....for my breathing at night has become difficult- don't know why but I wake up constantly with a burning nose- When I blow my nose (TMI WARNING) it is bloody and thick...so gross... My lips are dry and my throat is dry...
Any ideas how to help this?
As for sleeping comfy for you- have you tried pillows everywhere? Some people hate the snoogle, I think it has been a lifesaver! Plus two pillows underneathmy bed- I do toss and turn still and have to get up to pee (and blow nose) but at least when I am sleeping it is more comfy...
We are almost there!

Re: Uncomfortable at nite.. How are you girls doing it ..
im a little over 36 weeks.. my ritual before bed is taking 4 Tums right before. I find they seem to have helped me with the stomach discomfort, and have been getting some sleep at night (besides waking up to pee).

At that point I was sleeping either on my side opposite of where DC's were wedged in my ribs or sitting up like in a hospital bed. The hospital bed position was much more comfortable than I expected it to be.
Your in the home stretch now

Re: Uncomfortable at nite.. How are you girls doing it ..
I feel like garbage too! It's impossible to sleep, I'm in actual PAIN when I try to roll over or change positions. I can't lay on one side for more than 45 minutes or it starts to burn and my legs go numb..... I'm absolutely EXHAUSTED but at teh same time have HORRIBLE isomnia!
I don't know how I'm suppose to be "resting" before the baby comes. I feel like if I keep this up for another 4 weeks I'm going to be a wreck when teh baby gets here

Re: Uncomfortable at nite.. How are you girls doing it ..
I'm with you. Only 33 weeks here and sleeping is awful. I have horrible back and pelvic pain and feel like I need to switch positions every fifteen minutes, which is not fun when rolling over is such an ordeal. I've had this with each pregnancy and always end up sleeping on the couch at the end, it's a bit cushier and when I roll over I can at least hold onto the seat back for support. I think I'll be migrating down to the living room soon...

The couch is my saving grace right now -- even then, I'm only sleeping 2-3 hours at a time.
I'm running on fumes at work. I am so tired

Yup- I am due right around you and my nights have been miserable. It doesn't help that I have to run after a two year in the morning. I don't know how I am going to deal with 3 more weeks of this really. You are so not alone!
As a BTDT mom, I honestly got more sleep AFTER the baby came just because each hour, no matter how many were comfortable.

Re: Uncomfortable at nite.. How are you girls doing it ..
Sleeping is hit or miss with me. A humidifier is a must. I am so uncomfortable that I am constantly changing sides which ends up making me nauseous. The couch worked before, but lately it hasn't help. I get so itchy, not just my belly but literally all over that I can't even be still. I still have five weeks to go, I don't know how I will make it. On the upside, I'm getting use functioning on very little sleep. Should definetely come in handy when the little one finally makes his or her appearance.

Re: Uncomfortable at nite.. How are you girls doing it ..
it's getting tough at 34 weeks. I got the preggo waddle and have to hold onto my headboard just to position myself. I've heard that when you start to poop a lot it can mean that baby is close soon.
