I like Chloe, but I don't think Chloe or Emily are such unusual names anymore. In 2007, Emily was #1 and Chloe was #16.

I thought Emily was extremely popular, no?
I like Faith & Hope of the ones you've listed.
ETA: Some names I liked but DH does not:
Carly Tori Jane
Emily was the #1 most popular name for the last 13 years+
http://www.ssa.gov/OACT/babynames/ This is the Social Security list of registered babies, so it's the most accurate list of baby name popularity.
Most of the names being mentioned are relatively popular. Most are hovering around #100, which I guess is what you're leaning towards. Not popular, but common enough that people know about it, and probably know one other person in their circle with that name.

Re: Unique Girls names
My friend named her daugher Sutton Mae Faith which I thought was very unique and pretty. It's not our style but it is nice.
I have a co worker who named her daughter Caliopie (pronounced Co-Lie-Ah-Pee). I think it is really pretty but as someone who constantly had my name mispelled....I refuse to give my a difficult name to spell or pronounce.

Re: Unique Girls names
I've always liked Jillian . Unfortunately, it's my name, so I won't be using it for any daughters...If I could think of a good first name to pair it with, I would use it as a middle name

Re: Unique Girls names
I knew twins in grammar school whose names were Faith and Hope.
One of my all time favorite names is Audrey or any variation of it, like Audra. I think its such a pretty name, but DH didn't want it.
Other names for girls I had considered were Nora and Amelia.

Re: Unique Girls names

what have we got? Suggestions? Just for fun cause I cannot seem to find many I and DH like.
Our nominees right now are -Chloe ( excpet our Niece is Zoey and the rhyme annoys me a bit, especially since she lives upstairs and we say Zoey all day long) -Faith -Hope -Emily
We would like to stick to something not too out there but not too common either??
I love Chloe but I can see that getting annoying. Emily has been #1 for years now, I wouldn't consider it unique.
I love Lila, Avery, Lily, Maya and Sadie for 'unique' names. I think Faith and Hope are good middle names.

The SSA site is national. It's probably more popular in the Central states.
In Alabama, DC, Nebraska and Utah, it was in the top 5 in 2007.
It would be interesting to see a site similar to the SSA site that was just NY, or even LI.
