Watching fox news now. There were 2 air marshals on board that diffused the situation. This was one of the original targeted flights (from the terror plot in London). Very limited details are coming out, I'll keep it on for updates...

I have to tell you....they were only randomly checking bags in LaGuardia. Mine did not get checked after the original security point. Then, before boarding, (when you could easily buy something while waiting) it was only random checks.

My stuff when through the xray machine, but I didn't get searched. I had lipgloss, matches from a restaraunt that I visited in Chicago, and probably some other liquids.

The news is saying that since the police in London caught most of the terror plot individuals it is now possible that a few women were recruted by the terrorists as a back up plan. Today was the day the attack was supposed to happen before they caught everyone. The flight was escorted by fighter jets to Logan airport...

Other passengers got involved with the air marshals and this woman. She became very irate. This caused a major disturbance on the plane. This is all they are saying about it. Also, they keep saying that details are not clear right now. I am getting the info from MSNBC and Fox news on TV.

My purse. I didn't even realize they were in there. I don't smoke so I don't normally have matches/lighters. I took this set from a restaurant to use for my candles and didn't even realize I had them.
