My purse. I didn't even realize they were in there. I don't smoke so I don't normally have matches/lighters. I took this set from a restaurant to use for my candles and didn't even realize I had them.
WOW. It seems like that can't possible check every single thing and person. this is nuts

This is just scary. The part that also sacres me is that it's a woman...soon it'll be children involved. 
What about the NY post today a Woman wth her child in tow ( 6 months old) planned to blow herslef and her child up witht the baby's bottle ,,, now we can't let bottles ON GOD I HATE THIS CRAP

Now they are saying she said she had clostrophobia and that is why she filliped out. There is also speculation that she was a "copy cat" of the orginial plot.
Bottom line...no one knows W T F is going on

I flew home on the day the plot was uncovered.
My stuff when through the xray machine, but I didn't get searched. I had lipgloss, matches from a restaraunt that I visited in Chicago, and probably some other liquids.
Niiiiicee!!!! very niiiiceee!!!!  who the HELL IS HIRING THESE IDIOTS that are letting this stuff through!!!!???

Exactly. I also just read about a 12 year old boy that got onto a plane at London's Gatwick Airport today without a ticket and passport! How the heck did that happen?

I think all the news channels are speculating based on very limited details. I am sure we will find out more later.
Now the director of the TSA denied the reports about the note, screwdriver, matches and vasiline. The TSA director is saying she was clostrophobic and freaked out.
ETA: that is what the journalist said, I did not see the TSA director speak yet

now the AP is reporting no issue of terrorism, she had claustrophobia and freaked. Other passengers got involved, the air marshalls on board diffused the situation, and the piolits asked for the escort consdering that things got out of hand.
Eta: all of the passengers are now being questioned and the air marshals are being debriefed. I am sure we will have the truth soon enough.

they are just saying "ealier reports have been denyed" but not saying who released that info

OK, now the AP ia saying one of the suspects on the plane with this woman was a employee of Heathrow airport. 
eta: I wish the TSA director would just hold a press conference already and let us all know W T F is going on
